Yosemite Wedding Venues at Evergreen Lodge
“My husband and I got married here… The Evergreen was absolutely fantastic and catered to our every need… Could not recommend staying here or having your wedding here more.” – Casie Maghran on Google.
Just a mile from Yosemite National Park’s Hetch Hetchy entrance, Evergreen Lodge is home to two great Yosemite wedding venues, including the beautiful Wapama Grove ceremony site. A stream lines one side of the site, surrounded by towering pines, black oak, and Aspen trees. Wapama Grove can accommodate up to 200 guests, with intimate ceremony options for small groups of 20-40, and a reception area that accommodates 50-75 guests dubbed Coyote Hill.
Wapama Grove
Wapama Grove at Evergreen Lodge provides a lush, picturesque backdrop for your Yosemite wedding. You’ll reach the ceremony site, just a short walk from the Main Plaza of Evergreen Lodge, and find yourself in a fairytale setting among tall trees and a meandering stream.
Wapama Grove can be transformed to suit your wedding day aesthetic, with differing archways, seating options, florals and specialty decor, and other special elements provided by vendors from Evergreen Lodge’s list of talented local creatives.
For small wedding parties, Wapama Grove can also be used as a reception space – trade the ceremony seating for perfectly-set tables and chairs for an intimate wedding reception in this romantic tree-lined grove.
Catering is provided by Evergreen Lodge for all weddings, big or small, and extends past your rustic contemporary reception dinner options: catering also includes “backpacker” lunches for your daytime adventures and other meals tailored to the needs of you and your guests.
All food and beverages will be provided by the Lodge, with the exception of your wedding cake – but you can find a trusted local baker to create the wedding cake of your dreams.
Main Plaza
The Main Plaza at Evergreen Lodge is an outdoor venue unlike any other, giving you the opportunity to hold your Yosemite wedding under the stars. This 102-year old property is surrounded by towering pines, boasting Sierra sunset views and a rustic mountain feel. Farm tables and chairs provided by Evergreen Lodge are custom stained to match the buildings that surround the Main Plaza, with romantic lighting and decor tailored to match your wedding day vision.
The Main Plaza can accommodate weddings of 75-200 guests with seasonal minimums.

Yosemite Wedding Venues at Rush Creek Lodge
“We had our wedding at Rush Creek and it exceeded all expectations… as the bride, I was able to just relax knowing that I was in good hands!” – Caroline Waterhouse on Google
Just outside the Big Oak Flat entrance to Yosemite National Park, Rush Creek Lodge is hailed as a “destination within a destination” for couples seeking a Yosemite wedding location. The Lodge complements the stunning beauty of Yosemite with contemporary and luxurious touches like polished farm tables and chairs, silver cake service, a personal day-of assistant, and catering services. Here, you’ll find two Yosemite wedding venues that will delight any wedding party.
Cedar View
Rush Creek Lodge’s outdoor wedding ceremony space, Cedar View, is located within Stanislaus National Forest. Guests will follow the road that was once the original highway into Yosemite to reach this breathtaking ceremony space.
This scenic wedding location in Yosemite is surrounded by old-growth trees, with mountains rising in the distance behind you as you say your vows.
The Lodge’s events team will work with you to fine tune each detail of your wedding, from the aisle you walk down to reception linens and gift baskets for your wedding party.
Event Hall
The Event Hall at Rush Creek Lodge can accommodate up to 200 guests.
An indoor venue doesn’t mean you miss out on the beauty that surrounds the Lodge – the Event Hall features massive picture windows, and two walls that slide completely open to blur the lines between indoors and out.
Housed in the Main Lodge, this space is ideal for receptions and rehearsal dinners. The lofted ceilings with exposed wood beams make for an open, airy feel, enhanced when the accordion doors are opened to blend the Main Event Hall and private patio.
Above the Event Hall, the Bridal Veil Room offers a comfortable, convenient place for the bridal party to get ready on the big day. With a private balcony, large table with plenty of seating, and gorgeous natural light, the Bridal Veil Room is the perfect place to get ready and stage photos without being seen by guests before you walk down the aisle.
