Expect great food and wine in a
relaxed mountain atmosphere. Yosemite
locals and regulars from all walks of life
love to hang out at the Lodge, so you’re
sure to enjoy good company as well.
The heart and soul of the resort is our Main Lodge that houses our main restaurant and tavern and delights visitors with a storied past dating back to 1921. To deliver the best tasting healthiest food, we focus on sourcing all natural meats and local organic produce and on cooking as much as possible from scratch.
Our historic tavern is a local favorite for the specialty drinks, craft beers, wine list, casual lunch and dinner, and lively company. You’re sure to enjoy its authentic old-west atmosphere, including a pool table, historic photos, 30-foot wood bar and wrap-around wooden porch.
Our General Store has everything you need for your stay with us and for your adventures around the Yosemite area. There’s plenty to eat and drink, from trail ready breakfast and lunch items to Happy Hour supplies and fresh gelato. Find gifts, games and gear galore, plus so much more!
Meet the Chef
Chef Jesse McClelland joins us all the way from New South Wales, Australia. After formal training in Commercial Cookery at the William Angliss Institute in Australia, Chef Jesse made his way to America.
Chef Jesse’s American adventures took him to the Valley River Inn in Eugene, Oregon, The Truffle Pig in Steam Boat Springs, Colorado, and included a stint in Alaska.
We love his food because he elevates grilled foods to an entirely new flavor profile, and yet he brings beauty and sophistication to the plate with irresistible combinations such as Marinated Fresh Burrata with Copa Ham, Quince Paste, Cantaloupe, Candied Pecans and Balsamic Reduction.
When he’s not in the kitchen preparing amazing food for the Evergreen, you can find him snowboarding, camping and fishing Yosemite’s pristine waterways, killing it at a campfire sing-a-long, or teeing up at one of Tuolumne County’s lovely golf courses.
